By creating an account on Near Connect and accepting these terms and conditions, you formally agree to process ALL payments related to your activity on Near Connect exclusively through our platform. This obligation applies to any transaction made with clients acquired or referred through Near Connect.
IMPORTANT: Any circumvention of the platform to process payments outside of Near Connect (direct payment, bank transfer, cash, or any other means) constitutes a violation of these terms and conditions. Near Connect reserves the right to take legal action against any user who fails to comply with this commitment, particularly for commercial harm and lost revenue. Damages may be claimed.
The security of your transactions is our absolute priority. Near Connect does not store, process, or have access to any banking or credit card data.
PCI DSS Compliance
Near Connect is not a PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) license holder, which is the certification required to store, process, or transmit payment card data. This is precisely why we have chosen to delegate 100% of payment processing to Stripe, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified (the highest level of certification). This approach ensures that your banking data never transits through our servers.
All payments are processed exclusively by Stripe, a global leader in online payments, certified PCI DSS Level 1. Stripe is responsible for the secure collection, processing, and storage of all payment information. Near Connect only receives the information necessary to process your order (amount, payment status, transaction ID), but never your complete banking data.
Near Connect does not retain any banking information on its servers. We do not store card numbers, CVV codes, expiration dates, or any other sensitive data related to payment methods. Only the necessary transaction information (amount, date, status) is retained for account management and billing.
In case of fraud or unauthorized use of your payment method, liability lies with Stripe under their fraud protection policy. Near Connect cannot be held responsible for any payment-related fraud, given that we do not have access to banking data. Any claim regarding a fraudulent transaction must be addressed directly to Stripe or your banking institution.
In case of a dispute regarding a payment, you must first contact Near Connect support. If the dispute directly concerns payment processing by Stripe, you can also contact Stripe support. Near Connect is committed to facilitating the resolution of any dispute as quickly as possible.
Refunds are processed in accordance with our refund policy. Refunds are processed via Stripe and may take 5 to 10 business days to appear in your bank account. Stripe transaction fees are not refundable in case of transaction cancellation.
Near Connect is committed to complying with all applicable regulations regarding online payments, particularly European directives on payment services (PSD2) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). By using our platform, you agree that your transactions will be processed in accordance with these regulations.
